"Back-to-school" Sales Tax Holiday This Weekend

It remains to be seen how many Alabama school children will actually be in classrooms this fall due to the ongoing pandemic, however Alabama's annual sales tax holiday for school-related items for 2020 begins today and runs through the weekend, ending at midnight on Sunday, July 19th. Mr. Madison is a shareholder in the law firm of Rosen Harwood, P.A. He practices in the areas of state and local tax; business and commercial law; non‑profit entities; health care compliance; and privacy and cyber security law. He represents clients throughout Alabama, as well as national companies with Alabama issues.

Blake currently serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the American Institute on Federal Taxation. He recently served as Co-Chair of the City of Tuscaloosa’s Strategic Planning Steering Committee and is a member of the Mayor's Business Advisory Council.
